该职位来源于猎聘Responsibility:Working in Teradyne’s global Supply Base Management organization this position has responsibilities for the following 3 activities:1) Reactive Problem Solving and Factory SupportWorking with contract manufacturing resources; support analysis and integration with both suppliers and Teradyne on supplier quality issues. Drive containment and corrective action to assure customer shipments can be maintained while assuring the quality of the product. This includes activities such as writing hold notices and deviations, reviewing supplier 8Ds and escalating to engineering and management.2) Part QualificationExecute the qualification of mechanical and electromechanical components to assure that the parts will meet specifications over the product life. This includes activities such as supplier process audits, review of first article reports, utilizing statistical software to validate process capability and review of the finish and cosmetic standards.3) Supplier DevelopmentParticipate in creating and honing supplier development strategies. Drive activities with suppliers to improve their performance over time. This includes activities such as supplier system& process level audits, providing feedback to Teradyne and supplier management, regular visits to suppliers to follow up on proactive improvement initiatives as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions.Requirements:?Mechanical Engineering Degree, or other engineering degree with strong mechanical engineering background?Excellent experience and strong knowledge in machining and/or sheetmetal fabrication processes is a MUST. oMachining: CNC or Manual Milling/Lathe, tapping, grinding, EDM and Wire EDM, Lappin oSheetmetal: Bending, Welding, PEM insertion, Spot Welding. oSecondary Processes: Plating, Painting, Powder Coating.?Experience on electro-mechanical design concept. (Limits & Fits)?Prefer 8 + years of experience in mechanical design/manufacturing/operations and/or working with suppliers.?Experience with and working knowledge of both mechanical and electromechanical components (cable assemblies, power supplies, pneumatic)?Able to read custom mechanical drawings (piece part & assembly)?Experience in theory and practical application of quality tools (CPK, X Bar R, Control Plans)?Strong problem-solving skills?Strong written and verbal communication skills?Required to Travel as necessary to supplier site?Experience in Auditing/Lead Auditor will be an advantage?Experience in supplier/part qualification is a big PLUS
